About Lindsay Anne.
Born in the 80's, and a flower child at heart, Lindsay grew up in Santa Cruz, CA surrounded by the ocean and the redwoods. With a Montessori school background Lindsay viewed the world carefree and learning was an vast sea of opportunity. The violin was her creative outlet, as well as traveling to Guatemala for photography workshops.
She attended Santa Cruz High School where Lindsay fine tuned her passion for design, art and music. During high school she worked as a manager of a movie theater, then a buyer for Crossroads Trading Company. Then she met the friends that would later become her family, and after the tragic loss of her mother when she was 14, Lindsay carried on with a stronger outlook on life and a greater appreciation for the things she had. Lindsay's grandmother was a pianist and an artist, this was when she realized she could turn her hobbies into a career. Her grandmother taught her everything she knew and took her in as a daughter. Lindsay knew she wanted to attend art school, but she admired fashion just as much and this is when she realized that she could put her love and fascination with the arts into fashion. Fashion school; here we come.
After high school Lindsay moved to San Luis Obispo and obtained her AA in Fashion Marketing. These two years were essential to her growing as a person, as well as fine tuning exactly what she adored about the fashion industry. Once she completed her AA, she transferred to the sunny city of San Diego to the Art Institute to complete her BS in Fashion Marketing and Management. She worked as a supervisor and assistant buyer at a boutique until she obtained an Internship with Fashion Week San Diego. Working in a fast-paced high stress environment didn't phase her, the love for fashion was evident throughout. Lindsay also worked with Stiletto Evolution Group which is a fashion networking company that puts on events monthly. From marketing to graphic design and event planning Lindsay enjoyed it all.
Lindsay graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Fashion Marketing in March of 2009, and moved to San Francisco to pursue her career. Close to her hometown of Santa Cruz, she returned to her roots. Lindsay worked at the SF Weekly Newspaper as the Advertising Coordinator for the last two years. She is currently working as the Advertising Coordinator at Sotheby's International Realty.
